Cat Trap Permits are available from the Animal Control Officer.
Dogs
Every dog license tag shall expire on the 1st day of January
Current license, when lost, may be replaced at a cost of $5.00
Annual dog license fees are as follows:
Sterile dogs
$20.00
Male dogs
$25.00
Female dogs
$35.00
During the following periods a portion of the license fee will be paid:
April 1 - June 30
¾ of the license fee
July 1 - September 30
½ of the license fee
October 1 - December 30
¼ of the license fee
The Pound
Pound fees are as follows:
$75.00 for first impoundment
$150.00 for second impoundment
$200.00 for third impoundment
Fourth impoundment fine as identified in Section 6.4(a)(iv) plus a maintenance fee of $10.00 for each day or a portion of a day of confinement, and in addition the appropriate fines applicable.
Any person may buy an impounded dog, by paying an amount equal to the pound fees, license fees, and penalties owing to the Town.
