Fees for fingerprints and criminal record checks for the Community Policing Board
THAT, the Town of Creighton adopts the following policy:
That the Town Office collects the criminal record/fingerprinting fees and keep the funds in a suspense account.
The criminal record checks will still be performed by the RCMP detachment as per their own policies and guidelines. A receipt from the Town of Creighton must be presented to the RCMP detachment as proof of payment.
The Community Police Board will decide on how and when these funds will be disbursed, for example: Community Police Board expenses such as appreciation events and or Justice Symposiums, conventions, seminars, training etc.
Fees will be established as follows:
Volunteers, Foster Parents, students for education purposes
