Applications are made at the Town Office, you must come in and sign on. Our water supply is from Douglas Lake and we have water & sewer treatment plants. Garbage and recycling pick-up depends on your address; Route #1 – Tuesday(garbage) and Friday (recycling), Route #2 – Monday(garbage) and Thursday (recycling), the Town Office will inform you when you arrange for services which route you are on. There is no paper billing of water and garbage services and payment is due at the end of each month. Homeowners are required to provide metal or waterproof containers with lids. The containers should be sufficient to hold a week’s garbage and they are to be placed on a stand or platform. Garbage will be picked up at the rear and close to the boundary of the property in a place that is readily accessible for garbage collection. Where there is no back lane, the garbage will be placed at the front curb. Creighton residents may haul to the disposal site, but are cautioned to keep loads covered and well-secured en route, and to dump only in the designated areas. The last day of your pick-up cycle per week is Recycling Only. Please place your recycling outside of your garbage stand/can in a clear bag. There is no burning at the dump or within the Town limits.
