Business Licenses

The Town of Creighton Business License Bylaw #1-2012 regulates that every business or person conducting business within the town apply for a business license. The basis for licensing is to ensure that every business or person conducting business in Creighton provides all necessary information.

There are a few regulations regarding business licenses included in Bylaw #1-2012:

• The license shall be for one (1) year from January 1st to December 31st.
• Licenses must be renewed annually in January.
• A person must notify the Town when:
  • a business is discontinued
  • the location or nature of the business is changing
  • the business is being taken over by another person
• License must be displayed in a prominent place at the place of business

Fees $100.00 for all businesses.
